Opera Standards Compliant

Well to read all the salvos reported by CNet and Opera's own site, I had generally been of the impression that Opera was seriously standards compliant. Possibly even to a greater tune than Mozilla. Then I started to kick it's tires more and more. Maybe I'm missing something, but I couldn't find a way to set page borders to zero for it anywhere in CSS. Not at HTML, not at BODY. What ended up working was good old BODY leftmargin and topmargin. Cute. This of course isn't valid HTML 4.01 transitional, so I'm serving bad HTML up for now just to humor Opera.

Given the number of "be nice to opera" rules and similar variations I found in trying to find out what the deal was, my general impression was they missed a couple of spots. Oh well, live and learn, I'll console myself with pretty skins next time I need to use it.
